Union Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2026: 1865 Vacancies Open – Apply Now!
Union Bank of India has officially released its notification for the engagement of 1,865 apprentices for the year 2026. If you are a fresh graduate looking to get your foot in the door of the banking sector, this is one of the biggest opportunities this year.
This is a one-year training program that provides on-the-job experience in various banking practices, products, and processes.
Important Dates to Remember
Online Application Starts: April 29, 2026
Last Date to Apply: May 19, 2026
Online Examination: Tentatively May or June 2026
Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)
To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must meet the following requirements as of April 1, 2026:
Education: You must have a Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Note: You must have passed your graduation on or after April 1, 2022.
Age Limit: Between 20 and 28 years. (Standard age relaxations apply for SC/ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates).
Language: You must be proficient (read, write, and speak) in the local language of the state you are applying for.
Monthly Stipend
The bank offers a monthly stipend based on where you are posted:
Rural / Semi-Urban Branches: Rs. 15,000/-
Urban Branches: Rs. 18,000/-
Metro Branches: Rs. 20,000/-
Please note: Apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances or benefits.
Selection Process
Selection is based on an Online Objective Test. The exam will last 60 minutes and covers:
General/Financial Awareness (20 marks)
General English (20 marks)
Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude (20 marks)
Computer/Subject Knowledge (20 marks)
Union Bank of India Products & Services (20 marks)
Good News: There is no negative marking in this exam.

General / OBC (Male): Rs. 944/-
General / OBC (Female): Rs. 708/-
SC / ST / PWBD / Transgender: Rs. 236/-
