Tripura University Ph.D Program Admission 2024

Ph.D. ADMISSION NOTICE : ACADEMIC SESSION 2024-25
Online applications are invited from Indian and International candidates for admission to the Ph.D. programs through Research Eligibility Test (RET-2024) under different departments in the Faculties of Science, Literature, Social Science, Music & Fine Arts, Commerce, Law, Management & Information Science of Tripura University for the academic session 2024-25. The details of the number of seats against each department are mentioned as under
Number of Vacant Seats* : 07 Pharmacy
Eligibility : As per Tripura University Ph. D. Regulations.
Application Form Fill up is through online mode. No offline applications shall be entertained.
Display of Lists of eligible candidates : The list of candidates eligible to appear in RET-2024 shall be displayed in the Tripura University website.
Admit Card : Applicants shall download payment acknowledgement receipts as admit card from online portal (see general instruction for filling up Application Form) Date of Examination: The date of written examination for RET 2024 will be notified later in Tripura University website.
Note : • Qualifying in RET does not entitle a candidate to get admission into the Ph.D. program.
• The intake capacity of the Supervisors and Departments is as per Tripura University Ph.D Regulations and T.U. Reservation Rules.
General Instructions
• Applicants for admission to the Ph.D. programmes should apply online only using Tripura University admission portal: tripuraunivadm.samarth.edu.in/ Applicants have to qualify Research Eligibility Test (RET-2024) conducted by different departments for admission.
• Duration of filling up of online application: From 13th September to 29th September 2024 (midnight).
• During online registration, an applicant will be asked to provide an e-mail id and a mobile number, and the login details will be sent to the provided e-mail id or the given mobile number via SMS, and in future all correspondences in this regards will be made to this e- mail id and the given mobile no. via SMS.
• It is recommended that the applicants change their password on the first log in, if they so wish.
• After successful login, applicant may fill their Application Form for the Ph.D. programme.
• An applicant will be required to upload his/her scanned photograph, proof of SC/ST/EWS/OBC-Central & Non Creamy layer/Students from Jammu & Kashmir certificate (if eligible) and PWD certificate (if eligible).
• If the applicant does not have all the required information at the time of filling the form, he/she can save the incomplete application as a draft (by clicking on ‘Save as Draft’ button) and log out. Later, by login to his/her account again he/she may complete the rest of the application form. Applicants are advised to save the data as draft mode after filling up information or any modification in each page.
• For the applicants appearing in examinations (if any) at the time of filling the applicants ‘Year of Passing’ is the Year of Appearance, ‘Division/Grade Obtained’ is 0, ‘% of Marks / CGPA’ is 0.
• All applicants must pay theirapplication fees online using Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking. However for any problem during or after payment, Tripura University shall not be held responsible for the same.
• The Application Fees will be as follows (for each programme) –
Requisite Fee for UR / EWS & OBC – Rs. 800.00 (Rupees eight hundred only).
Requisite Fee for SC/ST/PWD – Rs. 600.00 (Rupees six hundred only).
• Application shall be summarily rejected, if payment is not made.
• To submit the application, applicant must agree with the given declaration, clicking on check box. It is important to note that, once applicants submit their application, they cannot alter those under any circumstances. Therefore, they are advised to be sure about the accuracy and relevance of the given / uploaded information before clicking the submit button.
• After successful submission of the application, applicants will be able to download the ‘Acknowledgement’.
• After successful payment status verification, applicants will be able to take print out/download of the application form that would be treated as the ‘Admit Card’ for Admission Test. Payment process verification may take 4-6 working days after payment.
• Candidates are requested to bring any other photo identity proof along with Admit Card at the examination centre.
• Tripura University shall not remain responsible for any problem, technical or otherwise, during the process of and after filling up of the application form and submission online.
• An application once submitted by an applicant cannot be cancelled or altered and the amount of fee paid for the same by the applicant is non-refundable. All amount(s) paid by the applicant, for application to the program offered by ‘Tripura University’ shall stand appropriated.
• Incomplete Admission Form in any respect will be rejected.
• Selection will be based on Tripura University Reservation Rules.
• From time to time admission related information shall be uploaded in the University website. Candidates are instructed to keep regular watch for the same. The University shall not be liable if an applicant fails to comply with the schedule.
• For any kind of dispute regarding admission related matters, the decision of the Tripura University Authority shall be final.
• All litigation regarding admission shall lie within the jurisdiction of the Tripura High Court of Tripura.
