Responsibilities:

– Install, configure, and maintain SAS software and related products.

– Monitor SAS servers, services, and jobs to ensure optimal performance and availability.

– Implement and maintain security measures and access controls for SAS environments.

– Manage SAS metadata including users, groups, roles, and permissions.

– Troubleshoot SAS platform issues and provide timely resolution.

– Plan and execute SAS software upgrades and patches.

– Collaborate with SAS developers, analysts, and users to deploy applications and solutions.

– Develop and maintain documentation related to SAS configurations, processes, and procedures.

– Provide technical support and training to SAS users as needed.

– Stay current with SAS technologies, updates, and best practices.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a SAS Administrator or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of SAS architecture and components.

– Experience with SAS Management Console, SAS Metadata Server, and SAS Grid Computing.

– Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell scripting, Python) for automation tasks.

– Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS) and SQL.

– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

– 6+ years of real time experience in SAS with linux (Must)

– SAS Certified Platform Administrator for SAS 9 .

– Experience with SAS architecture and administration.

– Knowledge of SAS security practices and standards.

– Familiarity with SAS integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory).

– Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SAS applications.
