OG Healthcare continues its recruitment drive to hire Medical Scribes for our realtime high-value healthcare documentation service. Our mission is to induct and train 1000 scribes over the next 2 years. 250 deployed, 750 to come!
Job description
Medical scribes live in the doctor’s eyes and ears, maintaining realtime bi-directional connectivity into EHR. Technology allows a doctor wearing smart glasses or a mobile phone to transmit video from a patient visit to a remote scribe to update EHR in realtime. In response to any queries, the technology allows scribes to send patient
information to the doctor. Medical scribing is truly a healthcare career, not backoffice medical transcription.
Suitable candidates
We are hiring freshers from many backgrounds, but all with good written English.
Life Sciences graduates in particular have made excellent scribes.
Eligibility
Those looking for a serious career in healthcare, an interest in medicine and a
willingness to take on new and difficult challenges. Scribing is just the first

Training Program
Once a candidate is selected through our screening process, they will undergo our
extensive Medical Scribing training program – ScribePlusTM. This includes:
1. Language of Medicine
2. Medical Coding
3. Professional English writing
4. Medical Scribing Essentials
5. Typing skills
6. Americanisms
7. HIPAA
8. ScribePlusTM Certification
Important information
Shift/s
Candidates must be willing to work in night-shift because this is a real-time role
servicing US doctors with whom you will consulting patients.
Stipendiary Training
1. Phase I Classroom Training – free Training for 30 shifts.
2. Phase II Training – on successful completion of CRT training monthly stipend
of Rs 15,000 per month will be paid from month 2 onwards.
3. Phase III Training – on successful completion of Phase II, you will qualify as a
Production-Ready Scribe, your status will change to ‘employee’ and you will
earn to Rs. 25,000 per month.
Salary on Completion of Training
On successful completion of the OG Healthcare Medical Scribe training program
(ScribePlusTM) i.e. meeting the 8 criteria to be a Doctor Approved scribe, you qualify
to provide scribing service independently for your assigned physician, earning a
monthly remuneration of Rs. 40,000 per month.
