Roles and Responsibilities for QA API Professionals
The responsibilities associated with this high-level QA role reflect the critical nature of the position in ensuring product safety and regulatory compliance.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
Hands-on experience in Equipment Qualifications – including installation, operational, and performance qualifications.
Knowledge in engineering and utility systems as they relate to GMP compliance.
Expertise in QMS (Quality Management System) activities – including deviation management, CAPA, and change control.
Experience in Vendor Qualification and third-party audits.
Oversight of compliance-related activities ensuring adherence to domestic and international regulatory norms.
Team leadership and mentoring skills for supervising junior QA personnel.
Strong communication abilities – both oral and written – to interface with internal and external stakeholders.
Working knowledge of warehouse processes and documentation practices.
Candidate Eligibility and Requirements
To maintain high professional standards, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
Hold a postgraduate degree in Organic Chemistry
Have 12–15 years of experience in QA, specifically within the API segment
Strong documentation and regulatory understanding
Leadership experience is a plus
