The Senior Officer/Executive – Talent Acquisition will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Marksans Pharma by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding top talent. The selected individual will lead recruitment efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a diverse and capable workforce.

Key Responsibilities

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Marksans Pharma, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

1. Staffing Needs Coordination

Collaborate with hiring managers to assess and identify specific staffing requirements.
Develop tailored recruitment strategies to fulfill diverse hiring needs.

2. Conducting Preliminary Interviews

Screen potential recruits to assess their interest, cultural fit, personality traits, and salary expectations.
Provide insightful recommendations to hiring managers based on preliminary evaluations.

3. Building a Qualified and Diverse Team

Proactively source and engage with candidates to build a well-rounded and diverse talent pool.
Ensure inclusivity in hiring practices to support organizational diversity goals.

4. Onboarding Process Support

Assist new hires with smooth onboarding to foster immediate productivity and alignment with the company’s culture.
Provide continual support throughout the onboarding process to ensure job satisfaction and retention.

5. Developing Talent Pipelines

Maintain and nurture a robust network of potential candidates to meet future hiring needs.
Leverage modern tools and platforms for proactive talent sourcing and pipeline management.

6. Representing Marksans Pharma at Recruitment Events

Organize and participate in job fairs, career expos, and other recruitment events to attract top-tier talent.
Act as a brand ambassador to showcase Marksans Pharma as a leading employer in the pharmaceutical industry.

7. Forecasting Hiring Needs

Work closely with department heads to predict quarterly and annual staffing requirements.
Align recruitment strategies with long-term business objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

To excel in this role, the incumbent must possess:

Educational Background:
- An MBA or PGDM degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related discipline.
Professional Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in talent acquisition within the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven Expertise in Talent Acquisition:
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Familiarity with diverse interview techniques and evaluation methods.
Industry-Specific Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, its structure, and the roles integral to its functioning.
Exceptional Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to engage effectively with candidates and stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment tools, and social media platforms for sourcing talent.
