Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal an Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University invites applications from eligible candidates for faculty Positions at the Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences MCOPS, a constituent unit of MAHE, Manipal. MCOPS started offering Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharm) education in 1963 and became a degree college for Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) program in 1965. Eventually, MCOPS became the first college to offer a postgraduate course (MPharm) in Karnataka in 1970 and the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program in 2008 in India.
Post : Research Staff (Project Technical Support-III)
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, an Institution of eminence deemed to be University, invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Project Technical Support – III for the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Govt. of India funded research project in the Department of Biotechnology, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal.
Project title : “Hospital bedside portable breath analyzer for rapid diagnosis of bacterial pneumonia, characterization of species, and antibiotic resistance profiling”
Duration of Engagement : Initially for 1 year and extendable up to 1 more year, if performance is satisfactory.
Eligibility : Candidates with M.Sc. in Microbiology / Chemistry / M.Pharm / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / master’s degree in subjects relevant to the project with minimum 60% marks with consistently good academic record. Candidate with prior experience and publication record will be preferred : Experience in Analytical sample preparation, Solid-phase microextraction, Material chemistry, GC-MS and LC-MS, Statistical data analysis.

Remuneration : INR 30,800 /- per month (HRA Included)
