Wockhardt is inviting applications for the position of Research Associate – Formulation Development at its Research Centre in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.
This role is ideal for pharmacy postgraduates looking to grow in pharmaceutical R&D, specifically in formulation development for international markets.

About the Position: Research Associate – Formulation Development
As a Research Associate in the Formulation Development team, your responsibilities will involve:
Developing formulations tailored to meet regulatory requirements
Designing and executing formulation experiments
Working on Oral Solid and Liquid dosage forms
Supporting regulatory documentation and technology transfer
This role directly contributes to Wockhardt’s global product development efforts in US and EU-regulated markets.
You will work closely with formulation scientists, analytical teams, and manufacturing units.
Key Requirements for Applicants
Education: Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
Experience: 2–4 years in formulation development and research
Hands-on experience with formulation techniques and development tools
Familiarity with guidelines relevant to USFDA and EMA
Applicants must be able to conduct independent lab work and interpret experimental data for product optimization.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Wockhardt values candidates with:
Experience in Oral Solid Dosage Forms (OSD) and Liquid formulations
Exposure to international submission processes
Understanding of QbD, DOE, and stability studies
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
A track record of working in formulation development for regulated markets gives a distinct advantage.
