Indian Army Sepoy Pharma Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Sepoy Pharma position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 equivalent exam and qualified in D. Pharma with a minimum of 55% in aggregate and be registered with the State Pharmacy Council/Pharmacy Council of India. Individuals qualified in B. Pharma with a minimum of 50% marks and registered with the State Pharmacy Council/Pharmacy Council of India are also eligible.  

  • Candidates who have appeared in the 12th Board Exam and are awaiting results can also apply, provided they fulfill all other requirements. However, they will only be selected upon producing the original marksheet during Phase II of the recruitment process.  

  • Age Limit: Candidates must be between 19 and 25 years of age. Candidates born between 01 Oct 2000.  

  • Domicile: Applicants must be domiciles of Karnataka, Kerala, and the Union Territory of Lakshadweep and Mahe.

Physical Standards:

Candidates must also meet certain physical standards, including height, weight, and chest measurements.

  • Height and Chest: The minimum height for candidates from Karnataka, Kerala, and the Union Territory of Lakshadweep and Mahe is 165 cm. The chest measurement should be 77 cm with a 5 cm expansion.  

  • Weight: Weight should be proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standards and BMI. (Refer to the official notification for the detailed weight chart)  

  • Relaxation in Physical Standards: Certain relaxations are applicable for outstanding sportsmen.  

Incentives and Bonus Marks:

  • Bonus marks will be awarded to eligible candidates in addition to their Common Entrance Exam (CEE) scores. The maximum bonus marks that can be awarded is 20.  

  • Categories for bonus marks include sons of service members/ex-servicemen/war widows, sportsmen, and NCC certificate holders. (Refer to the official notification for a detailed breakdown of bonus marks for each category)  

Recruitment Process:

The recruitment process consists of two phases:

  • Phase I: Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE)

    • Online registration is mandatory and will commence from 12 March 2025 to 10 April 2025.  

    • Candidates must pay an examination fee of Rs 250/- for the online examination.  

    • The online exam will be tentatively held in June 2025 onwards.

    • The exam will be a Computer Based Test (CBT).  

    • Admit cards for the online exam can be downloaded from the official website.  

    • The Common Entrance Exam (CEE) will be conducted in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Malyalam, Kannada, Tamil, and others.  

  • Phase II: Recruitment Rally

    • Candidates who clear the Online CEE will be shortlisted for the Recruitment Rally.  

    • Phase II will be conducted at the Rally Venue by Army Recruiting Offices.  

    • Candidates will undergo physical fitness tests, physical measurement tests, adaptability tests, and medical examinations.  

    • Required documents/certificates in original along with two attested photocopies.  

      • Admit Card  

      • Photograph  

      • Education Certificates  

      • Domicile/Nativity Certificate  

      • Caste Certificate  

      • Religion Certificate  

      • Character Certificate  

      • Unmarried Certificate  

      • Relationship Certificate (if applicable)  

      • NCC Certificate (if applicable)  

      • Sports Certificate (if applicable)  

      • Affidavit  

      • PAN Card & AADHAR Card  

      • Tattoo Certificate (if applicable)  

    • Physical tests include 1.6 Km run, beam pull-ups, 9-feet ditch jump, and zig-zag balance.  

    • A Grievance Cell will be established at the Rally Site.  

Important Dates:

  • Online Registration: 12 March 2025 to 10 April 2025

  • Online Exam Dates: June 2025 onwards (tentatively)
