Job Title: Compression Operator / Senior Operator

Job Role and Responsibilities

The Compression Operator plays a crucial role in the tablet manufacturing process, particularly in OSD Manufacturing Units. Operators will be responsible for handling compression machines, monitoring operations, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key responsibilities include:

Operating Compression Machines: The role focuses on handling Killian and Sejong compression machines, widely known for their precision in tablet compression.
Maintaining Machine Efficiency: Regular checks and maintenance of compression machines to ensure uninterrupted production.
Quality Control: Performing routine checks to ensure tablets meet size, weight, and quality specifications.
Documentation: Accurately maintaining production logs, machine usage records, and quality reports.
Troubleshooting: Quickly identifying and resolving machine malfunctions to avoid production delays.
Adherence to Safety Standards: Following all safety protocols, wearing appropriate PPE, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Educational Background: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field.
Experience: 2 to 6 years of relevant work experience in handling compression machines like Killian or Sejong in an OSD unit.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of machine operation, process controls, and GMP regulations.
Problem-solving Abilities: Experience in troubleshooting machinery and resolving production-related issues efficiently.
