Job Role Description:

Position: Trainee – Medical Coder Location: Hyderabad Shift: Rotational shifts

Qualification and Skillset Requirements:

Any graduate from a Life Sciences background
Certified Coder
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good knowledge of ICD10 CM, CPT & HCPCS, modifiers, NCCI edits, and guidelines
Good clinical knowledge in Anatomy and Physiology subjects

Responsibilities of Trainee Medical Coders:

Reviewing patients’ medical records and assigning codes to diagnoses and procedures using ICDs and CPTs.
Ensuring codes are accurate and sequenced correctly in accordance with government and insurance regulations.
