Position Overview

We are currently inviting applications for the positions of Research Associate and Senior Research Associate in our Formulation Research & Development (FR&D) department. This role is crucial in our ongoing efforts to develop innovative formulations that meet the highest standards of efficacy, safety, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

As a Research Associate / Senior Research Associate in the FR&D department, you will be responsible for:

• Literature Search/Patent Search: Conducting comprehensive literature reviews and patent searches to support formulation development.
• Reference/Comparator Product Procurement and Evaluation: Sourcing and evaluating comparator products for reference during formulation development.
• Test License Application: Preparing and submitting applications for test licenses as required.
• Costing Formula Preparation: Developing and preparing costing formulas for various projects.
• Bio Batches Execution: Planning and executing bio batches in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Raw and Packing Materials Procurement: Procuring raw materials and packaging materials necessary for formulation development.
• Pre-Formulation Studies: Conducting pre-formulation studies to evaluate the physical and chemical properties of drug substances.
• Master Formula Record and Specification Reviews: Reviewing and maintaining master formula records and product specifications.
• Formulation Development and Scale-Up: Leading formulation development and scale-up processes to ensure successful product development.
• Stability Studies: Designing and conducting stability studies to assess the shelf life and stability of formulations.
• Analytical and Stability Data Compilation: Compiling and analyzing analytical and stability data to support formulation development.
• Lab Notebook and Project File Maintenance: Maintaining accurate and detailed lab notebooks and project files for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Balance Calibration and Maintenance: Ensuring proper calibration of balances and maintaining calibration records.

Desired Qualifications

• Educational Background: M. Pharm or Ph. D in Pharmaceutics from a reputed institution. Candidates from top colleges will be given preference.
• Schooling: Preferably candidates with CBSE or ICSE board background and a strong academic record.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical formulation development processes.
• Proficiency in literature search and patent search techniques.
• Ability to conduct pre-formulation studies and execute bio batches.
• Familiarity with stability studies and analytical data compilation.
• Excellent documentation skills, including maintaining lab notebooks and project files.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
