UGC NET June 2025 Notification Released – Application Details & Dates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the commencement of the online application process for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2025. This notification brings important details for candidates aspiring to become Assistant Professors and/or pursue Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.

Official Notification for UGC NET June 2025 Out by NTA

The UGC NET June 2025 examination will be conducted by the NTA. This national-level test determines the eligibility of Indian nationals for (i) ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’ and (ii) ‘appointment as Assistant Professor’ only in Indian universities and colleges. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC – NET June 2025 for 85 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode as per the schedule given below:

The application fee can be paid online through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI.

How to Apply for UGC NET June 2025

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the UGC NET June 2025 through the online mode only. The application form and information bulletin are available on the official NTA website: https://ugcnet.ntaonline.in/. Candidates are advised to follow the instructions provided in the information bulletin carefully while filling out the application form.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates can apply for UGC – NET June 2025 through the “Online” mode only through the website https://ugcnet.ntaonline.in/. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
Candidates are not allowed to fill more than one Application Form.
Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin available on the NTA website while filling out the Application Form. Incomplete applications or those with incorrect information will be summarily disqualified.
Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own or Parents/Guardians only as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only.
