Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare microbiology department SOPs and QMS related documents.
- Perform microbiology laboratory analysis and follow up on QMS action items and investigation reports.
- Execute document control activities for the effective implementation of the QMS.
- Maintain the microbiology lab to comply with cGMP requirements and prepare for regulatory inspections.
- Prepare test and standard solutions, microbial cultures, growth media, and isolate microorganisms.
- Perform sampling for water, equipment hold time, cleaning validation, and environmental monitoring.
- Support analytical activities, including preparing petri plates, autoclaving, labeling, and weighing.
- Prepare trend analyses for water samples and environmental monitoring.
- Perform additional GMP tasks as assigned.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of regulations and GLP requirements.
- SAP knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Pharmacy, or Chemistry.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a microbiology department in the pharmaceutical industry.
