Position Overview: MICC Associate – Drug Safety Associate

Key Responsibilities
In your role as a Drug Safety Associate, you will be entrusted with a variety of critical tasks that contribute to the overall safety and well-being of patients and the accuracy of information provided to healthcare professionals.
1. Responding to Medical Inquiries
One of your primary responsibilities will be to receive and respond to medical information inquiries. These inquiries may come through various channels, including phone, fax, email, or mail, from patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. Your responses must be timely, accurate, and in compliance with regulatory standards. You will utilize Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and product labeling to provide clear and precise information.
2. Documentation and Compliance
A crucial aspect of this role involves the documentation of medical inquiries, product quality complaints, and adverse events. Accurate documentation is essential for maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring that any potential safety issues are identified and addressed promptly. You will be expected to adhere to departmental procedures, including those related to Pharmacovigilance and quality management.
3. Outbound Communication
In addition to handling inbound inquiries, you will also perform outbound calls to obtain missing or additional information. This aspect of the role is vital in ensuring that all necessary data is collected and that the information provided is complete and reliable.
